This week’s show includes (as well as a huge dose of mayhem, madness and bevy):
the battle of the decades goes to 1972 and 1982 – the vote will be between two songs from each year and from the top tens of this day back then – but who will win?
double dose higher and lower in the 70s continues with the highest and lowest new entries from the uk charts on 15th and 22nd October 1972.
the featured album comes from the brothers Johnson and their debut release from 1976 look out for number one.
we’ll go stateside at 8.15 and 9.15 with two tracks that made it in the us but didn’t quite do the same here in the uk – from our featured years 1972 and 1982.
Ah yes, requests are more than welcome – not for bevy to calm down but for your mid to late 60s, all 70s and early to mid 80s choices – tweet @BevyOnAir or email ian@ultimateradio.co.uk
Peace.

This weeks rock talk is dedicated to the work of Mr Jeff Lynn. Listen in, Saturday 2 pm or Wednesday 1 pm.

The featured album is from 1983 – it’s cheap trick and next position please – will play three tracks from this album plus give info on its production and release.
We go stateside at 8.15 and 9.15 with a track from the us billboard chart that didn’t make it in the uk in 1969 and 1979.
Higher and lower in the 70s has reached October 1972 and there will be a double dose of this after 8 and 9.

Saturdays are a changin’ and fromt his week it’s time for Saturday night with Bevy. In the true traditions of straight up the 70s, the core of the show is 70s but it’s bigger as music from the early to mid 80s and mid to late 60s is included. Features will include:
4 of a kind/battle of the decades – two songs from the top 10 of this week back in 1970 and the same from 1980 will battle it out to gain the listeners vote.
The featured album of the show will be Cream’s 1968 release ‘wheels of fire’.
Stateside will take tracks from the us billboard chart from this day in 1970 and 1980 – tracks that didn’t quite make it in the UK.
Keeping up the good tradition, higher and lower in the 70s continues with new chart entries from mid to late September 1972.
Of course, listener requests are more than welcome – tweet @BevyOnAir email ian@ultimateradio.co.uk
